Walt Disney Snow White Seven Dwarfs Dean & Son 1938 Vintage Pre-War Book

Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs – Dean & Son Ltd – Vintage Pre-War British Edition

A lovely early British edition of Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, published in London by Dean & Son Ltd, by permission of Walt Disney-Mickey Mouse Ltd.

The book has the wonderful original yellow pictorial boards featuring Snow White surrounded by the Seven Dwarfs, with the Dean name printed at the lower left.

The title page reads:

“SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS
By permission Walt-Disney Mickey Mouse Ltd.
LONDON: DEAN & SON, LTD.
6 La Belle Sauvage, Ludgate Hill, E.C.4
Made and Printed in Great Britain.”

The book contains 64 pages. The illustrations throughout are printed in monochrome rather than colour.

Condition: This is a vintage children's book approaching 90 years old and consequently shows age-related wear. The pictorial front board remains particularly attractive, with strong colour and the original Disney artwork displaying very well.

There is rubbing and wear to the edges and corners, together with general age-related marks and toning associated with a children's book of this period. Please examine all photographs carefully for the exact condition.

A very attractive early piece of British Walt Disney / Snow White memorabilia, ideal for collectors of pre-war Disney books, vintage children's books and early Snow White merchandise.

Please study all photographs as they form an important part of the description. Additional photographs can be supplied if required.
