Walt Disney Fantasia 1960 re-release Original UK Quad film poster cinema

A rare, original cinema poster for the 1960's re-issue of Walt Disney's FANTASIA, UK Quad, 30 inches high by 40 inches long. It was originally issued folded but has been stored rolled for many years. It depicts many of the characters from the various sequences in the film (bathing centaur ladies, dinosaurs etc.). It is showing signs of wear - corner pinholes, top right corner missing a chip, small tear along one of the original fold lines at the left side, two or three small burn marks (cigarette burns, probably) a few inches from the lower edge at the left and right side. Fortunately it's a 'busy' poster image with lots of characters so these little burns are hard to see. From the back there is a patch of water stain but this is hard to see from the front. It was from the collection of someone who had been given lots of original posters by a cinema projectionist when he was a boy (yes, like Cinema Paradiso, but in Liverpool!). With some restoration this will be a very attractive poster.

Stone litho printing of Walt Disney's "Fantasia" as performed with Stokowski with the Philadelphia Orchestra. This early 60s re-release was printed in England by S. & D. S. and includes all the major scenes from the film.
