RARE Vintage Disney Cinderella Russian Nesting Dolls 7pc Set Matryoshka MINT

Up for sale is a genuinely rare, highly unusual 7-piece set of vintage hand-painted wooden Russian Nesting Dolls (Matryoshka) beautifully depicting the classic Disney fairy tale, Cinderella.

Provenance & Rarity:
This spectacular set was personally purchased in the historic city of Prague in the early 2000s (circa 2002). Unlike common mass-market tourist souvenirs, this specific set was discovered in the window of a lovely independent antique and craft boutique specializing in fine wooden toys and specialized folk art. It was the only one of its kind seen during the trip—making it an incredibly scarce collector's piece that you will rarely find elsewhere on the market.

Condition:
Absolutely IMMACULATE / MINT condition. It was originally bought as a keepsake but has spent the last 24+ years untouched, completely unplayed with, and safely stored away from sunlight. The glossy lacquer finish and hand-painted line work remain beautifully vivid, bright, and pristine. There are zero chips, cracks, fading, or signs of wear. The pieces open smoothly and fit together perfectly.

Characters & Details depicted from largest to smallest (7 Pieces Total):
1. Cinderella in her stunning ballgown
2. The Fairy Godmother
3. Lady Tremaine (The Wicked Stepmother)
4. Anastasia / Drizella (Stepsister)
5. Jaq (the mouse in his red hat)
6. The Glass Slipper on a pink pillow
7. Gus (the chubby mouse in his green hat)

Features:
• Count: 7 Nesting pieces total (Premium size, highly detailed!)
• Era: Vintage Y2K (Circa 2002)
• Material: Hand-carved natural wood with a brilliant high-gloss finish
• Quality: Boutique-level painting with striking, accurate character expressions even on the tiniest figures.
Artisan Provenance: Each piece features the hand-written workshop bench number '3' on the interior wood, showcasing its traditional hand-turned creation as a perfectly matched, unique set.
Note on Craftsmanship: As is typical with authentic, hand-carved wooden folk art, there are natural lathe tool marks and inherent wood grain texture along the unlacquered inner joining lips where the pieces slot together (see close-up photo). The external painted surfaces and high-gloss lacquer remain entirely smooth, flawless, and immaculate.

A truly exceptional and scarce find for Disney memorabilia collectors, vintage toy enthusiasts, or anyone who appreciates pristine European craftwork!
This complete 7-piece set stands 7.5 inches tall (largest doll) and is in truly immaculate, mint condition with vibrant paint, a smooth glossy lacquer, and zero chips or fading.
